The technology behind the Tuttnauer EZ9Plus fully automatic autoclave represents the latest advances in the office space discipline of infection control. The EZ plus is designed to meet the most current sterilization and safety standards, allowing for a significant increase in capacity and ease of use. Moreover, the closed-door drying system is designed to ensure that the door remains closed during the entire drying process, removing the risk of cross-contamination and ensuring a clean, sterile environment throughout. On the outside, the EZ9Plus footprint is very similar to other 9" autoclaves. Open the door, though, and you will be surprised to see just how much they hold. The EZ9Plus which has a chamber that is 9 inches in diameter and 19.8" deep has three extra large trays for use with pouches and packs. If you prefer to use cassettes, simply remove the trays from the EZ9 plus and it will be able to accommodate two standard full-size cassettes and two standard half-size cassettes on the rack that is included with the machine.
FEATURES
EZGlide Self Locking Door
The newly designed, ergonomically friendly EZglide door provides effortless opening, closing and locking. If you slide the door closed gently with a gentle push, the double safety locking mechanism will automatically engage on its own.
EZView Multi-Color Display
This features will also be appreciated by your staff, as it simplifies operating the autoclave by showing them an easy to read multicolor LCD display so they can keep track of everything when it is in use. The new LCD panel has a bright color display and uses active multi-color display technology for easy reading, even at a distance. Shows program icon and name, cycle parameters, temperature, and pressure within the chamber in addition to the cycle parameters.
In the selected program, each of the stages of the sterilization process is displayed with both an active color wheel and text. During the various phases of the cycle, the color of the wheel and text changes. The wheel moves as the cycle progresses, indicating activity at each stage. During Filling, Sterilization, and Drying phases, the remaining time is displayed in multiple languages and displays information in real time
EZPad Controls
Using the 3-key EZPad, you can choose the appropriate sterilization program for every load in a matter of seconds. The display will include all the program parameters, such as the sterilization time, the temperature and the drying time. When the program is ready, watch the display panel to keep track of the progress. The actual temperature and pressure in the chamber, as well as the current stage of the sterilization cycle, will all be clearly visible throughout the whole process. As each stage is indicated by a different color, it is even simpler to obtain useful real-time information at a glance.
EZFill Water Filling
It must be noted that the EZ9plus series of fully automatic autoclaves, along with having a reservoir, permits you to fill the water tank from two conveniently situated locations. The steam-distilled water can either be poured into the convenient, easy-to-fill front filled funnel that is located on the front of the autoclave or it can be poured through the opening at the very top of the autoclave.
Closed Door Drying
It is important to note that during the entire drying process, the EZ9plus autoclave door stays shut and locked. High-efficiency air pumps circulate HEPA-filtered air (0.2*m) throughout the drying chamber for a fast and efficient drying process, which maintains the sterility of your wrapped instruments.
Documentation and Data Collection
There is an optional printer that records a detailed history of each cycle. By using a USB flash drive, you are able to transfer 100 cycles from the autoclave to a computer and print the results. In addition to the USB port that enables users to easily transfer cycle data via a flash drive or by using the included network port, users can remotely monitor the sterilizer using the optional RPCR software. The RPCR Software provides detailed reports of the cycle specifications along with graphs and tables with measurements of specific parameters and data values. Reports can be saved in PDF file format, with RPCR Software being able to generate PDF formats as well. Using an Ethernet connection, you can operate the RPCR feature.
Rack and Tray System
The rack and tray system is designed to accommodate a wide range of configurations of stainless steel trays, cassettes or pouches.
Sterilization Programs
Easy to use, the EZ9Plus comes with four FDA-cleared sterilization programs that can be quickly and easily activated. There are also two customizable sterilization programs which, in addition to allowing for longer drying times, includes a convenient ChamberBrite cleaning program which simplifies maintenance when using ChamberBrite powdered autoclave cleaner.
